Michael August is an accomplished music teacher and has taught over 200 unique students since 2008. Lessons with Michael are accessible for all ages. His methodology makes it easy for beginners to jump right in. They will learn how to put together simple rhythms, and combine a foundation of good techniques based on elements that all great players have in common.
Students learn how to read standard music notation, tablature, chord charts, and lead sheets, all while learning based on the student’s interest. Note values, chord shapes, scales and applied music theory are all taught through the context of real and applicable music.
Lessons are typically scheduled in 30-minute timeslots, with a minimum requirement of one timeslot each week, recurring at the same time and day. Or sign up for multiple times per week!
